The project is still in its early stages, and these gatherings are one of the ways we hope to open the work up to the community. They are a chance to explain what we are trying to do, why it matters, and how people can take part if they would like to.
Ocean Buffer Project is based on a simple idea: practical climate action should not be hidden behind institutions or technical language. It should be something people can see, question, and participate in. Our events are intended to reflect that approach.
Some will be introductory evenings where we talk through the project and the science behind it. Others may involve demonstrations, workshops, or informal discussions about climate, oceans, and community-led environmental work. As the project develops, the events will likely evolve as well.
You do not need any scientific background to attend. Curiosity is more than enough. Whether you are interested in volunteering, following the research, contributing ideas, or simply understanding what is being built here in Cornwall, you are very welcome.
